Description

Join curator, lecturer and jeweller Mark Edgoose for this spirited discussion about the importance of skill and training in creating contemporary jewellery.

This event is part of the RMIT Gallery exhibition MasterMakers (6 September – 9 November) which is a celebration of the work by leading Australian and international Gold and Silversmithing artists, who for the past two decades have delivered and participated in masterclasses in the RMIT School of Art.

This major exhibition explores the master class legacy and records the cultural, artistic and technical shift in contemporary jewellery and object.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from the curator of the exhibition, as well as inside stories about the master class experience.

Morning tea is included.
