Dynamics of Air: Exhibition Opening

RMIT Gallery in partnership with the Goethe-Institut presents Dynamics of Air

You are invited to the opening of Dynamics of Air at RMIT Gallery on Thursday 13th of September 6-8pm with guest speakers Thomas Auer, partner and managing director of Transsolar, and H.E. Dr Anna Prinz, the German Ambassador to Australia.

Dynamics of Air is a new exhibition curated by Malte Wagenfeld which showcases specially commissioned works by designers, creative practitioners and engineers that capture the beauty, dynamics and sensuality of air in our built environment.

Bringing together leading local and international artists and designers, the exhibition explores the critical role that air plays in designing for a zero carbon future, and how radical innovations can make way for creative sustainability in design and the built environment. The exhibition will engage with the interface of air, with lived space and architecture, and will showcase how designers, artists, scientists and researchers work with the intangible atmospheric medium that is air.

Opening speakers – Prof. Thomas Auer and H.E. Dr Anna Prinz

Thomas Auer is partner and managing director of Transsolar, an international climate-engineering firm, and professor for Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design at the TU Munich.
