Celebrating the ceramics of Janet Beckhouse

Join us to celebrate the work and legacy of Janet Beckhouse in a new exhibition at RMIT Gallery.

An esteemed alumna of RMIT’s School of Art, Beckhouse masterfully manipulated clay into ornamental, delightful and often gruesome sculptures of fantastical and natural creatures.

Join us at RMIT Gallery on Thursday 26 October at 5pm to hear RMIT Adjunct Professor Kevin White and sculptor William Eicholtz discuss Janet’s important contribution to Australian ceramics and to celebrate her ongoing legacy.

This exhibition is part of Craft Contemporary 2023.
