Artist Panel – What is a Model Citizen?

How can modelling in art create new forms of creative expression?

How can modelling citizenship become an activist and activating intervention into the way one understands one’s role in the social and political world, as well as the role that art plays in transforming the modern agora?

In this panel, artists Sean Redmond, Sadia Sadia, Lyn McCredden, Polly Stanton and David Cross will address the twin conceits of The Model Citizen (8 Feb – 23 March) exhibition at RMIT Gallery.

Each artist will talk about their own work in the exhibition, to energise and anchor the discussion. The panel will end with a Q & A.
